Tim Else, Founder & MD of What Else Events LTD, virtually sat down with Venue Director, Carlo Zoccali to discuss the importance of the return of live events, the format of the show and what to expect at ‘The Home of Pioneering Spirit’.

Tim is the driven leader at What Else Events Ltd. with extensive experience in live events and exhibitions, as well as digital, print, and live content deliveries. Prior to founding What Else Events Ltd, Tim led the growth and development of Western Business Exhibitions to £5m+ turnover and its sale to the private equity backed Nineteen Group. He was instrumental in establishing the Nineteen Group whilst doubling turnover in one year.

Very skilled in strategic planning and implementation, Tim has a proven track record in the launch and development of live event and media brands including significant M&A activity.

The Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live show has been empowering regional safety and health communities since its inception. With 20 years of trade show expertise of delivering outstanding B2B events across the UK, the show will be sure to gravitate interest when it showcases at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in September 2022.

So, when Tim virtually discussed with Carlo on why he chose Farnborough, “I’ve wanted to bring a show to Farnborough International for years, since you built the new facilities” Tim explained. “And this is the first opportunity I have had, and I’ve grabbed it with both hands.”

“When you look at that gap in the market in terms of accessibility, ease of access for visitors. The exact same applies to my exhibitor base, they love to do live trade shows. But one of the pain points is how accessible and how expensive it is to stay. My experience of Farnborough through the years have been near-on perfect in respect to that.”

Tim elaborated on the purpose of the show, and how it correlates with Farnborough’s in-compassing message. “Our over-arching purpose is to empower, inspire and educate the occupational safety and health practitioner. To create an environment so those one or two days, you can really bring yourself up to date with the latest legislations.”

“You should feel empowered to go back to your employer, either better able to do the job set out, or you can go back and ask the question of what your company could be doing better.”

The Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live Show will open its doors at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in September 2022.
