Exhibitors How To Exhibit Testimonials

Testimonials

Stein Seal have exhibited at each Farnborough since we started our UK company in 2002, in order to enhance our status and to promote our company. As an SME, we can appear in front of the World's aerospace buyers, engineers and customers; all in one week. It is a useful marketing tool as customers speak more freely in the atmosphere of the show. We intend to continue exhibiting at Farnborough in preference to other European shows. We found Farnborough 2010 to be our busiest show ever and our plans today indicate that we will be back in 2012.

Mark Casserly, Sales Director, Stein Seal UK Ltd

Two years ago, we were the first robotics company to exhibit at Farnborough and that forward-thinking decision helped pave the way for an even more successful event this time.

Visitors to our stand included a significant number of major decision makers from top aerospace companies, reflecting our belief that more robotic automation in a wider range of manufacturing processes is still an important objective for many of them.

We received lots of positive feedback about our stand not only from customers, but also from other exhibitors. Farnborough provided an excellent opportunity to further build on our existing relationships in this valuable sector as well as develop new ones.

Alan Shilton, Managing Director, KUKA Automation + Robotics

Siemens Industry Automation participated at Farnborough Air Show 2010 recognizing that this is one of the most important global aerospace events where Siemens can meet its aerospace executive contacts. Siemens, as no other, is developing integrated hard and software solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. Having a chalet is the best format to maintain existing - and establish new business alliances. FIA 2010 was very productive and efficient.

Tim Nichols, Managing Director Global Aerospace & Defense, Industry Marketing, Industry Automation Sector, Siemens

EMBRAER’s investments in Portugal were the catalyst for the creation of a Portuguese Aeronautical Cluster. In 2010 we were ready to showcase excellence from Portugal and we chose Farnborough to present 41 companies engaged in aircraft maintenance, aeronautical and aerospace engineering, manufacturing and software development. The event was a success.

Luís Florindo, aicep Portugal Global - Executive Director, Portuguese Aeronautical Cluster

The Farnborough Air Show provides a unique and valuable forum for business.
Virtually every key company in the aerospace industry attends, including many of the customers, partner companies, and suppliers with whom we do business.

Parker Aerospace attends and exhibits at Farnborough because it allows us to showcase much of our product line, including new technologies, for review and discussion with most of our customer and supplier base in the space of a few days.  We can consolidate and reduce travel costs, while maximizing our opportunities to meet with key contacts.

Farnborough is an important element in our strategic marketing plan.

Ed Feick, Group Vice President, Parker Aerospace

2010 was the first time Heller Machine Tools exhibited at the Farnborough International Airshow, and it couldn’t have gone better. We were allocated a superb stand position, which easily enabled us to achieve the lead generation targets set out before the show. The self-build stand option was also perfect, giving us the flexibility to demonstrate our machinery in front of visitors. The variety of quality facilities available for exhibitors, such as the Hall 1a Business Centre, the Media Centre and the various high quality restaurants and bars all contributed to the overall success that we enjoyed at the show.

Geoff Lloyd, Managing Director,  Heller Machine Tools

Air 2 Air attended the Farnborough Airshow 2010 to demonstrate the versatility of the Draganflyer products. Having attended various exhibitions we expected to have a limited flying arena where we could hover, rotate and land. We were elated to see the size arena that the Farnborough Airshow had provided for the indoor UAV flying area. It was the size of a badminton court with full height ceilings up to approx 20 feet and fully netted so that onlookers where safe whilst still being able to obtain a perfect view. We were able to give a full demonstration of our UAV in full flight with manouverability, safety features,  Thermal Infrared images, stability and auto landing mechanisms.  The UAS area of the show was extremely well supported by Oliver Newton who was able to accommodate our late requests and was always on hand for support and advise. We will certainly be attending the next Farnborough Airshow as we feel this it was the best indoor UAV arena we have ever seen in the UK or internationally.

David Cooper, Air 2 Air

FIA 2010 has been one of the most successful aerospace events for Mexico so far. The fair provided a perfect setting to show the world what a robust and growing industry we have in Mexico. Our pavilion hosted a constant flow of companies wanting to invest, buy, source or just learn about our advantages in quality, cost and productivity. There is no doubt that Mexico will be present again in 2012.

Alejandro Almazan Zimerman, Foreign Direct Investment Officer, ProMexico

The Farnborough Airshow represents an excellent opportunity for ATI to achieve a number of important commercial objectives.  Our stand, well located at Farnborough ’10, provided a great venue for us to introduce our new, game-changing titanium ATI 425® Alloy, as well as to feature our new ATI 718+® Superalloy.  Our chalet, also, conveniently located, provide a great space to entertain and interact with our key customers in a quiet, constructive atmosphere.

Phil Morton, Leader, Marketing Communication and Brand Management, ATI

For our second time exhibiting independently at Farnborough Airshow, we chose the Stand Out Shell Scheme package.  Purchasing an all-inclusive stand package proved to be a hassle free way of participating, freeing up valuable time. We had the opportunity to customise the stand with our company branding, and the fact that it was displayed in a prominent position above the stand meant that we were more visible.  The combination of quality furniture, choice of carpet colours and storage cupboard location plus an upgraded structure made it a very cost effective way for us to develop our presence at the show.

Drew Lomas, Sales Manager, IML
