Newly introduced to FIA for the first time in 2012, the Aviation Security Zone was born to reflect the crucial significance of Airport and Aviation Security in the 21st Century and to offer greater opportunity for targeted exhibiting and networking.
Cutting-edge technologies were demonstrated not least by FLIR Systems, the global leaders in perimeter detection and surveillance technology, who were the Headline Sponsor of the Aviation Security Zone.
Other technology showcased included access control, software, cargo screening and bluetooth tracking technology, “DNA Tracker”, by Commercial Link Ltd.
The Aviation Security Conference which took place within the Zone was also highly successful welcoming the Rt. Hon. Justine Greening MP, Secretary of State for Transport as one of the keynote speakers.
